Peter Michorl

Peter Michorl spent most of his career at one club, and it shows in the numbers: by the time he left LASK in July 2024, he had made 351 appearances and scored 40 goals across league, cup and European football. He had come through the Austria Wien academy from 2004, having started out at Gerasdorf/Stammersdorf as a boy, but it was at LASK that he built his reputation.

The high point of that spell came in the 2016-17 season, when Michorl played a key role as LASK won the Austrian 2. Liga title and returned to the Bundesliga. He stayed at the club for the best part of a decade afterwards, even without any major individual honours to his name.

Michorl also came through Austria's youth setup, representing the national team from U16 level up to U21, including one appearance at U21 level in 2016. He was never capped by the senior side.

He left LASK on a free transfer in July 2024 to join Atromitos in Greece. His time in Greece is set to be relatively brief: he is due to leave Atromitos in July 2026, again as a free agent, to sign for Grazer AK on a two-year contract running to the summer of 2028.
