Patryk Dziczek

Patryk Dziczek was part of the Piast Gliwice side that won the club's first league championship in 2018–19. He was from the club's own academy, which he had joined at eight. The Ekstraklasa named him its Young Player of the Season for that campaign. He had also taken the Young Player of the Month award in September 2018 and again in May 2019.

His route there was short. He played for Piast's reserve side from 2014 to 2016 and won the Polish Cup with that team in 2014–15. He made his senior debut in 2015 and spent the years to 2019 in and around the first team.

The title season brought a move abroad. In August 2019 he signed for Lazio for a reported fee of about €2 million. He went straight on loan to Salernitana, where he remained until June 2021. The loan was extended in October 2020 to cover the 2020–21 season.

His contract with Lazio expired in August 2022, and he returned to Piast on a free transfer. A year later, in October 2023, he won his first two senior caps for Poland. He played 82 minutes of a 2–0 win over the Faroe Islands in a Euro 2024 qualifier on 12 October. Three days later he played 45 minutes of a 1–1 draw with Moldova. Before that he had appeared for Poland at U17, U18, U19 and U21 levels.

In January 2026 it was announced that he would join Pogoń Szczecin on a free transfer once his Piast contract ran out on 1 July.
