About the player
Quentin Maceiras Pralong came through the youth ranks at FC Sion before starting his senior career away from the club, first with FC Sierre and then FC Naters, where he made 39 appearances in the Swiss Promotion League. He returned to Sion in 2016 and stayed for four seasons, establishing himself as a regular right-back and making 83 Super League appearances.
In August 2020 he signed for BSC Young Boys on a free transfer, and it was there that his career took off: two Swiss Super League titles, in 2020–21 and 2023–24, and a further Swiss Cup in 2022–23.
In July 2023 he left Switzerland for the first time, joining Puskás Akadémia in Hungary's Nemzeti Bajnokság I. He made 85 league appearances without finding the net. Three years later, in July 2026, he moved to Servette FC on a two-year deal, taking him back to Swiss football.
Right-footed and right-back by trade, Maceiras collected silverware at Sion and Young Boys before testing himself abroad.
