About the player
Stredair Appuah came through Paris Saint-Germain's academy before leaving the club in the summer of 2021 to join Nantes, where he worked his way up through the youth ranks. He made his senior debut for Nantes in March 2023 and went on to make eight first-team appearances, alongside fifteen for the reserve side, over two seasons.
In August 2024 Palermo signed the forward from Nantes for a fee reported at between €1.5 million and €2 million, signing a five-year contract in Serie B. Appuah made 41 appearances and scored seven goals. He has since moved to Lommel United on loan, joining the Belgian Pro League side ahead of the 2026–2027 season.
Appuah has also represented France at youth level. He was called into the France U20 squad in March 2024 as a replacement for Wilson Samaké, and made his debut as a substitute in a friendly against Germany U20 later that month, a match France lost 3–1.
