Shayden Jermaine Morris

Shayden Morris spent the 2024–25 season mostly as an impact substitute at Aberdeen, and the club's supporters still voted him their Player of the Year. That season ended on 24 May 2025 with the Scottish Cup, won on penalties after a 1–1 draw with Celtic (4–3 in the shootout). It was Aberdeen's first trophy in 35 years.

The route to that day began in youth football at Southend United, which he left in 2018. He then signed a two-year scholarship with the Fleetwood Town academy, made his senior debut in September 2019 and signed his first professional contract in July 2020. Fleetwood extended that deal in January 2021. He left in August 2022.

Aberdeen signed him on 4 August 2022 on a four-year contract, for an undisclosed six-figure fee. His time there brought two further finals. Aberdeen lost the 2023–24 Scottish Cup Final to Celtic, and in 2024–25 the club also reached the Scottish League Cup Final.

On the last day of the summer 2025 window, 1 September, Morris moved to Luton Town. The reported fee was close to £1 million, after Luton's earlier bids of £500,000 and £600,000 plus add-ons had been rejected. He made his debut the next day in the EFL Trophy against Barnet, coming on in the 63rd minute. He scored a penalty in the 87th minute, and Luton won 4–1.

Morris has since played 40 games for Luton and scored seven goals: five in League One and two in the EFL Trophy. He has also set up two goals in the EFL Trophy. He has not played for England at any youth level.
