About the player

A free move to AGF followed, where his sharpest moment came in the UEFA Europa League against FC Honka.

It was at Silkeborg IF, signed for around 1.5 million Danish kroner in September 2021, that Tengstedt built a proper goalscoring record. That form took him to Go Ahead Eagles in January 2024 for a fee of €340,000, on a contract running to 2027 with an option for a further year. He was part of the Go Ahead Eagles squad that won the KNVB Cup in the 2024–25 season.

His international career remains a single line: one cap for Denmark's under-21 side, against Slovakia in January 2020. He had not represented any of the country's youth national teams before that call-up, and a senior cap has not followed. Long before any of that, back at AaB, he was named the club's Under-13 Player of the Year in 2013.
