Thibo Roger Baeten

Thibo Baeten grew up in Aalst and joined AA Gent's youth ranks before moving to Club Brugge's academy in 2017. He made his senior debut for Club NXT, Brugge's reserve side, in 2020 and scored six goals in 15 appearances, including one against Union Saint-Gilloise inside the first minute of the 2020–21 Challenger Pro League season.

When his contract at Brugge expired, Baeten signed for NEC Nijmegen on a free transfer in January 2021 and helped the club win the Eerste Divisie promotion play-offs that May, beating NAC Breda 2–1 in the final. A loan to Beerschot in January 2022 resulted in 13 goals in 30 league appearances in 2022–23, with four of them penalties, and a place among the Challenger Pro League's top scorers with 12 goals in all competitions.

Beerschot took up their option to sign him permanently in July 2023, but Baeten moved on to Go Ahead Eagles the following day for a fee reported at €400,000 plus potential bonuses, and he never made a senior appearance for Beerschot. At Go Ahead Eagles he has made 50 appearances and scored once. In August 2024 he went out on loan again, this time to Roda JC, where he wore the number 97 shirt and scored seven goals in 34 games over the 2024–25 season before returning to Go Ahead Eagles in the summer of 2025 and taking back the number 23.

Baeten has represented Belgium at every youth level from the under-15s to the under-21s, though a senior cap has not yet followed.
