Tyler Fredricson

Tyler Fredricson's route to Manchester United's first team ran through the club's academy from the age of nine. He signed his first professional contract in May 2022 and, that same season, was a key member of the Manchester United under-18 side that won the FA Youth Cup, though injury kept him out of the final itself. His progress continued into the reserves, where he was named Denzil Haroun Reserve Team Player of the Year for the 2024–25 season.

The senior debut came on 20 April 2025, when he started a Premier League fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers. First-team opportunities remained limited the following season, with three league appearances in 2025–26. In July 2026, Fredricson left for Swiss Super League side Lausanne-Sport on a permanent three-year deal until June 2029. The fee was not disclosed, though reports pointed to a significant sell-on percentage retained by Manchester United along with a buyback clause.

At international level, Fredricson represented England through the youth ranks, collecting two caps for the under-17s between 2021 and 2022 and two more at under-18 level. A call-up to the under-19 squad followed in September 2022, though he did not add a debut at that level.

He has yet to add a senior trophy to his name.
