Chabab Mohammédia

El Bachir Stadium holds 10,000 people, and its name carries a memory: Abdessalam Bachir. It is there that Chabab Mohammédia, formed in Mohammedia in 1948, has built a support base that still calls the team Skakem, a local reading of the club's initials, or Fedaliens, after Fedala, the name the city carried under colonial rule.

The one Botola Pro 1 title, won in 1979–80, sits at the centre of the club's record. Around it are smaller honours: a Coupe du Trône from 1974–75, a Supercoupe du Maroc twice, and a Maghreb Cup Winners' Cup in 1973.

No player carries the club's history the way Ahmed Faras does. He became Morocco's all-time leading scorer with 36 goals in 94 caps, a record built entirely in Mohammédia colours. In 1975 he was named African Footballer of the Year.

Union Mohammedia remains the fixture that matters most locally.

That history now sits at a distance from the club's present. Chabab Mohammédia dropped out of the Botola Pro at the end of the 2023–24 season, finished 16th in 2024–25 with four points, and along the way went without a win for 30 matches and lost ten in a row. A first-division title won in 1980 is still the only one the club has.
