Como 1907 Women

Selena Mazzantini was named best coach of the Serie B Women championship. Patrizia Panico works beside her as assistant.

The women's section started in April 2020 with two youth teams, an under-15 and an under-17, under Elio Garavaglia. The senior side entered the 2020–2021 season in Promozione Lombardy, the lowest tier of Italian football. They won it in 2024, then finished second in Eccellenza Lombardy a year later. That was one step short, and the club did not wait for the next one.

In the summer of 2025 Como bought the sporting title of ChievoVerona FM (Chievo Verona Women). That skipped them past a division and put them straight into Serie B for 2025–2026. They won it with three games to spare. It was their first promotion to Serie A Women, and it came in their first season at that level.

The money and the planning come from the Djarum Group, the Hartono family's company, which also owns the men's team. Heather O'Reilly, the former United States international, was brought in as Head of Women's Football to build the structure around the players. The squad she and Mazzantini work with has names that would not look out of place at a European club: Tessa Wullaert of Belgium, Verónica Boquete of Spain and Valentina Giacinti of Italy. Training takes place at the Centro Sportivo di Mozzate, and the matches are played at the Sinigaglia.

The city has another women's side, FC Como Women, formerly Riozzese Como. It is a separate club, and no named derby has grown up between the two.
