Como Women

Como Women have no ground in Como. Their registered office is in the city, but through four Serie A seasons, from 2022 to 2026, the team has played 1,700 seats' worth of home football at the Stadio Ferruccio Trabattoni in Seregno. For 2026–27 the club moves again, to the Stadio Mino Favini in Meda.

It began in 1997 as FCF Como 2000, after a split from Vigor Grandate, and later appeared as ACF Como and, in 2020, SSD Riozzese Como. Only in 2021 did it take the name Como Women, with white and black as its colours and Le Lariane as its nickname.

Another club in the city, Como 1907 Femminile, founded in 2020, uses the same nickname. The two share a city but not a history or an owner. Como Women belong to the American fund Mercury/13, and Stefano Verga is the president.

The Serie B title of 2021–22 took the team up to Serie A. The club had won the second tier before, in 2000–01 and 2015–16. That same season they also reached the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia, their best run in the competition.

Stefano Verga, who signs for the owners as president, is the name most tied to the club's present.
