Eintracht Braunschweig II

The rivalry that comes with the shirt is Hannover 96's. The Lower Saxony Derby belongs to the senior side, and the second team inherits it without ever playing it on the same terms.

The Landesliga is where the club found itself in 2019. Eintracht Braunschweig closed its under-23 structure after the 2018–19 season and put an amateur team in its place. The drop followed the first team's relegation in 2018, which pulled the reserves out of the Regionalliga Nord with it.

They got to the Regionalliga by winning the Oberliga Niedersachsen twice, in 2010 and 2013, and both titles brought promotion. The Lower Saxony Championship came in those same two years.

Home is the B-Platz , a secondary pitch inside the Eintracht-Stadion complex, with room for 2,000. It has also carried the name Rheingoldarena. The team plays in the parent club's blue and yellow, takes its nickname, the Lions, from the first team and has no badge of its own.

Two players from the reserves went on to the national team. Karim Bellarabi spent 2008 to 2010 in the second side and scored 11 goals in 22 appearances before Bayer Leverkusen took him. Deniz Undav came later, in 2017–18, and scored nine in 18. VfB Stuttgart signed him afterwards, and he too earned German caps.
