Nieciecza

Football in Nieciecza started with a village team in 1922, and for most of the century that is all it was: a side that came back in 1983, and spent the years after that under a string of names as sponsors arrived — LKS Bruk-Bet in 2004, Termalica – Bruk-Bet in 2010, and since June 2016 Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza.

The climb that made the village known happened in three seasons. In 2007/08 the club played in the fourth tier. By 2010/11 it was in the I Liga, having gone up in each of the intervening years. The Ekstraklasa followed.

The ground it does that in opened on 26 August 2007 and holds 4,653. Only 775 of those seats are under cover, 240 are set aside for away supporters, and the address is simply Nieciecza 150.

Eighth place in 2016/17 remains the club's best finish in the top flight; the season before that ended 13th. There are no trophies.

The nicknames arrived from two directions. Słoniki, the little elephants, comes from a sponsor's mascot. Szaleni wieśniacy, the mad villagers, is the other one, and it is the one that travels.

After relegation from the Ekstraklasa, the club plays the 2025/26 season back in the I Liga.
