Maiyadevi Girls Under-19s Cup (Nepal) 2023/24

The Maiyadevi Girls Under-19s Cup is a domestic Twenty20 cricket competition in Nepal organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). It serves as the primary national domestic competition for women under-19 players, acting as a key development platform for the Nepal women's under-19 national team. The tournament was founded in 2023, with its inaugural season (2023/24) taking place in early 2024.

The competition is contested by provincial representative teams corresponding to Nepal's federal provinces. Participating clubs typically include Bagmati Province Women Under-19s, Gandaki Province Women Under-19s, Lumbini Province Women Under-19s, Koshi Province Women Under-19s, Sudur Paschim Province Women Under-19s, and Karnali Province Women Under-19s. Occasionally, departmental teams may also participate, though the core structure is provincial. There is no promotion or relegation system, as participation is fixed based on the administrative provinces of Nepal.

The format of the tournament generally involves a group stage followed by knockout playoffs. In the 2023/24 season, teams were divided into groups, with the top teams from each group advancing to semi-finals and then a final. The matches are played in the Twenty20 format. The 2023/24 edition was won by Bagmati Province Women Under-19s, who defeated Gandaki Province Women Under-19s in the final. Bagmati won by 6 wickets. As a relatively new competition established in 2023, historical data on multiple winners is limited, with Bagmati Province being the first recorded champion.

The tournament is named after Maiya Devi Shrestha, a senior Nepali politician and patron of Maiya Devi Girls' College in Bharatpur. It is distinct from the senior women's domestic circuit, which is dominated by the Prime Minister Cup Women's National Cricket Tournament.
