No Frills T20I Series is a cricket competition held in Canada, involving national teams rather than clubs. The 2025 edition was the inaugural tournament, held from June 11 to 13, 2025, at the Maple Leaf North-West and North-East Grounds in King City, Ontario. It featured four participating teams: Canada, Bermuda, the Bahamas, and the Cayman Islands. The series was organized as a warm-up event immediately preceding the 2025 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Americas Regional Final. It was not a standalone league with a permanent historical record but a specific bilateral/multilateral series created under a new sponsorship partnership between Cricket Canada and the grocery retailer No Frills (owned by Loblaw Companies Limited), announced in September 2024. The format was a short round-robin block where each team played three matches, totaling five matches in the series (as not all permutations were played or reported as distinct league fixtures in the same manner as the subsequent qualifier). Canada won the series, defeating the Bahamas and the Cayman Islands in the matches played. The series granted official Twenty20 International (T20I) status to the participating teams for these matches. It is distinct from the 2025 North American Cup (held in April in the Cayman Islands with the USA) and the subsequent 2025 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Americas Regional Final (held in June in Canada with the same four teams but structured as a longer qualifier for World Cup spots). There is no evidence of previous editions prior to 2025, and its status as a recurring annual tournament remains unconfirmed.
