About the player

Léo Linck's professional debut did not go unnoticed. On 2 July 2023, thrown into the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A for Athletico Paranaense, he saved a penalty from Endrick.

Linck had joined Athletico's youth ranks in 2015, after starting out at Craques do Futuro in Marechal Cândido Rondon, and stayed with the club through 2021 before being promoted to the first team the following year. He was registered for Athletico's 2021 Copa Sudamericana squad but did not feature. He won back-to-back Campeonato Paranaense titles in 2023 and 2024, and made 26 league appearances for the club overall.

In January 2025, Botafogo paid a fee reported at around R$ 13 million to sign him permanently, tying him to a contract running to the end of 2028. He made 22 league appearances in his first season in Rio de Janeiro and was part of the squad that won the Taça Rio in 2026. Increased competition for the goalkeeper's shirt after the arrivals of Warleson and Gabriel Batista pushed Botafogo to loan him out in July 2026, sending him to Portugal's Estrela da Amadora for the season with a purchase option attached.

At youth level, Linck was part of the Brazil squad that won the Torneio Internacional Sub-20 in 2020, and he received a training call-up from senior coach Tite in 2021, though a first cap has not followed.
