Haslum HK Women

Bekkestua sits on the edge of Bærum, and what plays as Haslum HK Women today did not exist in its current form until a merger with the women's section of Stabæk Håndball came together as Bærum Topphåndball in 2019/2020, before the side took the name Haslum HK Damer in 2021 to sit under the same banner as the men's club. The men's Haslum Håndballklubb itself goes back to 1999, but the women's senior team's own path to the elite division is far shorter, and it only reached the REMA 1000-ligaen, Norway's top tier, for the 2024–25 season.

They play at Nadderud Arena in Bekkestua, a ground that seats 2,050, and turn out in red — enough that the side is known simply as Røddrakten, the red jersey. That colour has a local counterpoint: for years the closest thing to a rival was Stabæk, in what was called the Bærum derby.

No league title or Norwegian Cup sits with the women's side yet; those belong to the men. What the club points to instead is its academy, which has produced a run of young players moving up through the ranks, among them Tilde Grönvall and Alva B. Iversen, alongside senior names such as the Icelandic international Solveig Stefansdottir. It is a team built, for now, on promotion rather than silverware — one top-flight season in, at 2,050 seats a night.
