The Duża Hala Widowiskowo-Sportowa OSiR seats fewer than 900.

Eugeniusz Hajkowski and Jan Czerkasiuk set up the club for pupils across the city's schools in 1948, under the name Międzyszkolny Klub Sportowy "Zamość"; a women's section followed in 1950, and in 1964 the club took the name Padwa, after Zamość's old historical epithet. The men's senior side later lapsed and had to be rebuilt from nothing in 2015, drawing almost entirely on players who had come through the club's own youth ranks. The second division in 2016, the first division in 2018, the Liga Centralna in 2021, and in 2024 a runners-up finish there that carried Padwa into the promotion play-off for the Orlen Superliga.

Karol Małecki came up through that same youth system before moving on to AZS AWF Biała Podlaska and then Gwardia Opole. The honours from before the rebuild are smaller but real: bronze at the Central Youth Games in 1978, runners-up in the Polish Junior Championships in 1981.

The fixture that matters most is against AZS AWF Biała Podlaska, played out as the Lublin Voivodeship derby.
