Rubin Kazan sign ex-Inter forward Eddie Salcedo on free transfer

Rubin Kazan have signed Eddie Salcedo, a 24-year-old Italian forward, on a free transfer. The club's press service announced the deal, which runs to 2027 with an option for one more season.
Salcedo will wear the number 10 shirt.
He belonged to Inter from 2018 to 2025. Inter bought him from Genoa in 2019 for €10m, but he never played a competitive game for the first team and went out on loan 10 times, to clubs in Italy, Spain and Greece. Verona were among them.
The reports differ on his last season with the Greek side OFI. Sport-Express, as relayed by Lenta.ru, gives 13 goals and three assists in 36 games in all competitions. Sports.ru and Euro-Football.ru put his league record at 10 goals in 26 matches. The two sets of figures are consistent if the first covers all competitions and the second the Greek league only. Lenta.ru also has him at 19 goals in 67 appearances for OFI overall. Euro-Football.ru puts his market value at €1.5m.
If the 10 goals in the league are the level he can hold, Rubin have added a forward who scored more last season than in any of his earlier loans. That may be the case for the signing, though a career of short stays does not yet say he can do it for a full season.
