Wilman Adonnis Pabón Carcelén

Bolívar produced Wilman Adonnis Pabón Carcelén, and the goalkeeper's route to Ecuador's top flight ran through the amateur ranks of Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial and El Nacional before CD Olmedo gave him his break in the Serie A in 2014.

At Macará he held the number one shirt for the 2018 campaign, but by the middle of the following season had dropped out of the picture enough to be loaned out. In July 2019 he moved to Club Atlético Porteño, in Ecuador's Serie B, for the rest of that year, then returned to Macará once the loan ended. He stayed at the club until 2020.

Mushuc Runa signed him in January 2021, and the move has proved the most durable of his career. He has kept the gloves at the Ambato club for five seasons, appearing in the league, the Ecuadorian Cup and the Copa Sudamericana, and has passed 50 appearances for the side. No call-up to Ecuador's national team has followed, and Pabón's record remains built entirely on steady club work rather than individual honours or trophies.
