Adrián Ademir Ascues Earl

Adrián Ascues has one cap for Peru U-23. It came at the 2022 Conmebol Pre-Olympic Tournament in Venezuela, in the match against Uruguay U-23, and it remains the only competitive international appearance on his record. He was also called into Peru U-20 squads for training camps in 2020 and again in 2022, but never played an official fixture at that level. The senior national side has not yet called him up.

The club path began in the youth setup at Sporting Cristal, and it was a move away that got him onto a pitch. Deportivo Municipal handed him a debut in September 2020, and he stayed there through the end of the 2022 season.

Sporting Cristal took him back for the 2023 season. He remained on their books until January 2025, then left on a free transfer to Cienciano. That spell was short. On 27 July 2025 he was loaned to Club Deportivo Universidad César Vallejo for the remainder of the season.

A left-footer who came out of Lima, Ascues has so far built a career on movement between clubs rather than on a single long stay. There are no senior titles on his record and no individual awards; nor is there a promotion or a youth trophy attached to his name. What the record does show is a professional debut before he had turned twenty, a return to the club that raised him, and one appearance in Peru colours at an Olympic qualifying tournament.
