Agustin Gomez

Nearly two seasons at Deportivo Morón saw Agustín Gómez make 67 appearances in the Primera Nacional between 2022 and 2024, scoring three goals and playing at the centre of the defence. The club had signed him as a free agent.

He came through the youth ranks at Racing Club, Quilmes and Defensa y Justicia, and joined the Defensa senior squad in 2017 without making a single league appearance; he sat as an unused substitute eight times. The loan that followed took him a long way from Buenos Aires — AIK in Sweden, from July to December 2017. He made his senior debut there in the Svenska Cupen on 23 August 2017, but never played a league match.

Back in Argentina, he built up the games one division at a time: 19 appearances for Fénix in the Primera B Metropolitana from June 2018, then 23 in the third tier with Defensores Unidos in 2019. Instituto signed him in March 2021, where he made 24 appearances in the Primera Nacional across two seasons.

In January 2025 he moved to Deportivo Cuenca in Ecuador, again on a free transfer, and played 36 matches in the Serie A that season, scoring three times. In December 2025 Deportivo Garcilaso signed him for the 2026 campaign in Peru, on the same terms every one of his recent moves has been made: no fee disclosed. He has yet to be capped by Argentina at senior level.
