About the player
On 23 May 2023 Adrian Sæther was loaned out by Kristiansund BK to SK Træff, sent to the 2. divisjon club to cover for injuries. It included a full 90 minutes in the Norwegian Cup against Ørn Horten, and he was back at Kristiansund on 6 July. Træff finished that season 12th in 2. divisjon Avdeling 1 and were relegated.
The loan came a month after the paperwork that mattered more. In April 2023 Sæther signed his first professional contract with Kristiansund BK; it was later extended to run until 31 December 2029.
The route there was a local one. He played for Halsa/Valsøyfjord until 2014, then Valsøyfjord IL between 2015 and 2016, KIL/Hemne Fotball in 2017 and Clausenengen FK across 2018 and 2019. The move to Kristiansund FK followed in 2019, where he made 20 appearances, and in 2020 he joined the senior squad at Kristiansund BK.
Senior football has come in instalments rather than in a run. Between 2020 and 2024 he made 39 league appearances for the club. Public records do not carry the detail of his Træff spell: no clean-sheet or goals-conceded figures survive from those weeks.
He has not been capped by Norway at senior level, and available sources record no appearances for the country's youth sides between under-15 and under-21.
