About the player
Thirteen seasons at one club is the shape of Dan Peter Ulvestad's career. He signed for Kristiansund BK on a free transfer on 1 January 2013 and has been there ever since, passing 299 league appearances and 22 goals in all competitions by 2026, and taking the captain's armband along the way.
The start was less settled. He came through at Aalesunds FK in his home city and made seven league appearances there from 2010, but in March of that year he was loaned to SK Herd , where he stayed until the end of the 2012 season. That spell gave him what the parent club had not: 23 league games and five goals.
His name sits on one piece of silverware without a minute attached to it. Ulvestad was part of the Aalesund squad that won the Norwegian Cup in 2011, but he was not named in the matchday squad for the final against SK Brann , which Aalesund won 2–1. His brother, Fredrik Ulvestad, started that match.
