Ariel Uribe

Ariel Uribe made his professional debut in 2017 with Santiago Wanderers, appearing in the Copa Chile, before a move to Mexico's Morelia the following year brought him a single Primera División appearance. A loan back to Chile with Deportes Antofagasta in January 2020 proved more productive: he scored his first senior goal that March and went on to make close to fifty appearances for the club across separate spells through 2022.

His biggest breakthrough came on loan at Unión Española, where twelve goals in fifty-six matches across 2023 and 2024 persuaded the club to sign him permanently in December 2024 on a three-year contract. The following February he earned a first call-up to the Chile national team and marked his debut against Panama with a goal.

Uribe's route into professional football ran through the youth academies of Universidad Católica and Santiago Wanderers, and at under-20 level he was part of the Chile squad that won gold at the 2018 South American Games. He was also named the outstanding player of the SBS Cup in 2017.

In January 2026 he joined Universidad de Concepción on loan, wearing the number 22 shirt, but the arrangement lasted only until July, when it was cut short and he moved on loan to Audax Italiano for the rest of the season, this time with the number 30. At Concepción he made seventeen appearances without a goal or an assist.
