About the player
Deportivo Binacional were excluded from the 2025 tournament in August, and the left-back left as a free agent. Within days, on 29–30 August 2025, Tarma's club presented him as a new signing, handing him the number 20 shirt.
He had spent that season doing more than defending. In the 2025 Torneo Apertura, Gutiérrez was one of Binacional's regulars, playing 16 matches, scoring twice and setting up another goal.
That climb began at Deportivo Llacuabamba . The club won the Copa Perú and earned promotion, and Gutiérrez made his debut for them in 2019. He stayed until the end of 2021, playing in Liga 2 across the 2020 and 2021 seasons. What followed was a run of one-season stops in the same division: Comerciantes Unidos in 2022, Santos de Nasca in 2023, Deportivo Coopsol in 2024.
He is a left-footed defender from Lima. The exact date of his first appearance for ADT is not recorded in public sources; the match against Atlético Grau at the end of August 2025 was one possibility.
No call-up to Peru's senior side has been recorded, nor to the under-20 or under-23 teams. With his first top-flight season behind him, the season at ADT is the one that will say most about where he stands.
