Carlos Daniel Gómez Ccasani

Two years in the Alianza Lima system, a promotion to the first team, and then a contract that simply ran out: that is the shape of Carlos Daniel Gómez Ccasani's career. He left Lima in January 2026 as a free agent, with no fee published, and joined FC Cajamarca.

Gómez came through the Alianza Lima academy before being moved up to the senior squad in 2024. He featured in matches during 2025, but the club's titles in that period went elsewhere — Universitario took the Peruvian championship — and he collected nothing with the first team.

His international experience came earlier and briefly. In April 2024 he was named in the Peru under-20 squad for friendlies against Costa Rica, played on 7 and 9 May under coach José "Chemo" del Solar. Flashscore credits him with two appearances for the age group, both in friendlies, without a goal. No senior or Olympic call-up has been recorded.

Gómez played 15 Liga 1 matches in the 2026 season, starting 11 of them and coming off the bench four times. The club, founded in 2023, won Liga 2 in 2025 and came up to the top flight. Cajamarca sit in the lower reaches of the table, fighting relegation, and went out of the Copa de la Liga at the group stage. Head coach Carlos Silvestri was dismissed during the Torneo Apertura.
