About the player
Silkeborg's football boarding school was the door in for Bastian Holm. He joined the intake at Silkeborg Efterskole in 2019, and the years there fed him straight into the club he still plays for, with a spot in the Silkeborg IF U19 squad following in 2021.
The step up to the first team came on 1 July 2024, when Holm signed a full-time contract running to the summer of 2029. He extended that agreement again in June 2025, less than a year into his time with the senior squad.
His senior career remains at an early stage, with five appearances recorded so far, but the trajectory from academy to a five-year first-team deal in the space of a few seasons marks him out as one of Silkeborg's own coming through.
