About the player
Borys Krushynskyi came through Lviv's academy before playing for the club's first team from 2020 to 2023 in the Ukrainian Premier League. His move to Polessya in January 2023 involved a dispute away from the pitch: Lviv's youth school claimed the parent club owed it more than three million euros over the transfer, even though Polessya had paid a compensation fee.
At Polessya, Krushynskyi has become a defender. Against LNZ, he headed in the winning goal from a corner and was voted man of the match by supporters. In the 2025/26 season he added a bronze medal in the Ukrainian championship with the club.
A hamstring problem sustained against Shakhtar in April 2026 kept him out for three to four weeks, and he had already missed a month earlier in the season with a separate thigh injury.
