Brandon Caicedo

Before he was scoring for Bucaramanga, Brandon Caicedo was chasing minutes across seven clubs in three countries, a run that took him from Colombia's top flight to Panama and Guatemala and back again. He started at Atlético Nacional in 2019, part of the squad that won the Liga Águila that year, though his own appearances there were limited. A move to Bogotá FC followed, then a step abroad to Independiente de La Chorrera in Panama, where he won the Clausura title in 2022 and scored twice in five matches.

Guatemala became the next stage of his career. At Malacateco he found his most productive run yet, five goals in seventeen appearances, before a switch to Antigua GFC yielded little return in front of goal. A short spell at Sacachispas turned things around again: three goals in just four matches.

He returned home in January 2025 with Deportes Quindío, playing twenty-four league matches and adding three more goals, enough to earn a move up to Colombia's top division with Atlético Bucaramanga a year later, signing through the end of 2027. All of his transfers, across every stop, have come as a free agent — a pattern that says as much about the shape of his career as any single result.

Caicedo has been capped once by Colombia's under-23 side, in a friendly in 2023, without scoring. He has not featured for the senior national team.
