Christian Morales

Morales joined the O'Higgins academy in 2021, at 15, and worked up through the youth sides. The step into the first team came at the end of 2024, opened by injuries in the senior squad, Cristián Castillo among them. His debut arrived on 25 September 2024 against Unión Española, an 81st-minute appearance in a 0-1 defeat. In February 2025 he signed his first professional contract with the club.

Nineteen appearances in 2025 — fifteen in the Chilean championship, four in the Copa Chile — took his first-team total to 21 matches, with the Palestino header the only goal on the sheet. He plays mainly at right-back, though some sources list him as an option in central defence; he is right-footed.

Before the senior breakthrough there was international football at youth level. Morales made six appearances for Chile's under-17 side and was part of the squad at the 2023 South American Under-17 Championship in Ecuador. He has not been called up to the senior national team.

Everything on his record so far carries the same club name. He came through every age group at O'Higgins, and has played no professional football anywhere else.
