Luis Alberto Pavez Muñoz

The Copa Chile came to Luis Pavez on loan. In 2017, on his way out of Colo-Colo's system, he spent the season at Santiago Wanderers, played 28 matches and finished it with the trophy.

He had been at Colo-Colo since 2012, and the club sent him abroad early: a 2015–16 loan to Cádiz in Spain brought nine appearances. The Chile under-20 side called him up over 2014 and 2015 for six matches, including the South American Youth Championship in Uruguay at the start of 2015, where he featured against Venezuela, Uruguay, Brazil and Colombia.

The settled years came at Unión Española. Pavez joined in 2018 and stayed until 2021, making 67 appearances and scoring twice. A move to Mexico followed — 17 matches for Juárez in 2021, with one assist — before he returned to Unión Española in 2022 and played another 56 matches through to the end of 2024.

He left as a free agent. O'Higgins presented him on 12 December 2024 and the deal ran from 1 January 2025 to the end of that year, with an option for 2026. He played 28 league matches, two goals and six assists, plus five in the Copa Chile with three assists.

The option was taken up. In 2026 the left-back has played 15 league matches, three in the Copa Chile and seven in the Copa de la Liga. O'Higgins also entered the Copa Libertadores, where Pavez appeared four times and set up a goal.
