Dérlys Gómez

Dérlys Gómez is one of the youngest names to have come through Mushuc Runa's academy this year. He worked his way up through the club's junior sides, first with the under-17s and then, from 2024, with the under-20 squad, before making the step into first-team football in early 2026.

His Serie A debut came on 6 July 2026, away to Universidad Católica. Mushuc Runa were leading in a five-goal contest when Gómez was sent on in the 89th minute, replacing Cristopher Angulo, and the match finished 3-2 in his side's favour. Five days later he was given a second run-out, coming on for Ronie Carrillo in the 76th minute against Independiente del Valle.

Both appearances were brief, and by the end of July he had yet to start a league match, used instead as an option off the bench. That is the shape of his career so far: two substitute cameos in his first month among the seniors, still finding his footing rather than commanding a regular place.
