Ethan Minda

Ethan Minda joined the LDU Quito academy at the age of eleven and spent close to nine years working through the club's youth ranks. His only appearance for the first team came on 2 December 2023, away to Mushuc Runa, when he started in goal and played the full ninety minutes of a 3-1 win. LDU Quito went on to win the Ecuadorian league and the Super Cup that season, and Minda was part of the squad without adding to his appearance tally.

Born in Quito, he moved on in January 2025, signing for Deportivo Cuenca as a free agent after leaving LDU Quito. The club brought him in to add competition for the goalkeeping spot following Hamilton Piedra's departure. A muscle injury early in the season set him back further, and by the middle of the year he had yet to play a first-team minute for Cuenca, an unused substitute in at least ten league matches against sides including Barcelona, Aucas, Delfín and Emelec.

At youth international level, Minda has represented Ecuador's under-20 side, with four caps recorded by Transfermarkt. He was named among the squad's three goalkeepers for the 2023 South American U-20 Championship and featured at the 2022 South American Games in the same age group, where Ecuador won silver.
