Nono, a small town in Córdoba province, named Facundo Castelli its Cultural Ambassador in 2023.
He came through at Instituto de Córdoba and made his senior debut there in July 2014. The club kept him for seven years, with a loan spell at Sarmiento in Junín during 2019 and 2020 that brought 11 outings. There he played regularly — 43 appearances, 6 goals — and that run earned him a free transfer to Estudiantes de Buenos Aires in June 2022, on loan with an option to buy.
Estudiantes is where the scoring rate turned. Six goals in 21 appearances across 2022 and 2023, and a loan to Delfín S.C. in July 2023 produced 4 goals in 12 matches; from January 2024 he spent two seasons at Emelec, where he scored 9 times in around 30 appearances. Early in 2026 he moved on again, to Mushuc Runa, adding 2 goals in 8 games.
In June 2026 he crossed into Peru, signing for Deportivo Garcilaso ahead of the Torneo Clausura and taking the number 9 shirt. He arrives without major team honours or individual awards, and without a senior international cap.
