Facundo Saravia

At Danubio's academy, Facundo Saravia was raised as a left-footed defender, and that developmental grounding is what carried him into the first team from May 2021. Over four seasons in Montevideo he made 21 appearances in Uruguay's Primera División, a modest but steady run for a young full-back working his way into a settled squad, and added five more in the Copa Sudamericana, where Danubio tested itself against continental opposition. He did not find the net in any of those outings, a reflection of a role built around defensive duties rather than attacking output.

Saravia left Danubio in 2025 without a shirt-number legacy to speak of beyond steady service, and moved on as a free agent before joining Boston River, where he now wears number six. He has never been called up to a Uruguay national side at any level, so his career so far has been shaped entirely at club level, first in Danubio's system and now in a new dressing room he is still settling into.
