About the player
Georgi Milanov's career carried him through three different domestic leagues before Dinamo București, but it began at Litex Lovech, where he came through the academy and broke into the first team in 2009. He stayed four seasons, scoring 28 goals in 106 league appearances and winning back-to-back Bulgarian titles in 2009/10 and 2010/11, along with a Bulgarian Super Cup.
Milanov spent five years in Moscow, made 99 league appearances and won two Russian championships, in 2013/14 and 2015/16, plus two Russian Super Cups.
After a year without a club, Milanov returned home to Levski Sofia in 2021, playing 41 matches over two seasons and lifting the Bulgarian Cup in 2021/22.
He signed for Dinamo București in January 2024 and had made more than 80 appearances for the Romanian club by the middle of 2026, before joining Botev Plovdiv as a free agent.
