H. Haugen

The goal came against Rosenborg BK, in a 4–1 win. Haakon Haugen was still counting his first-team appearances in single figures at the time.

He came to Kristiansund BK in 2021 from Frei FK, where he had played until 2020, and moved through the academy without a transfer fee ever attaching to his name. His senior debut arrived on 17 September 2023, as a substitute in a 0–2 defeat to Sandefjord in the OBOS-ligaen — not the introduction anyone chooses, but the door had opened. That same year the club named him its Academy Player of the Year.

Promotion to the Eliteserien brought the next step: Haugen signed his first professional contract, running to the end of the 2028 season. By late 2025 he had made nine league appearances and seven in the cup.

The international record is fuller. Eleven caps for Norway U18, and a part in the side that reached the elite round of European Championship qualification. In 2025 he won the Four Nations Tournament with the U18s in Prelog, Croatia, where Norway beat Ireland 4–1 and Turkey 1–0 before losing 0–2 to the hosts in the final. He has not been capped by the senior national team.

Right-footed, minutes at club level arrive in measured doses, while the youth international calendar gives him tournaments to play in full.
