Igor Henrique

The title Igor Henrique rates above all others came late. In 2025, with Vila Nova, he won the Campeonato Goiano — the most important trophy of his career, in his own words to the local press. It arrived after more than a decade of contracts, loans and moves between states.

The Pará-born midfielder turned professional in 2012 at XV de Jaú, where he played four matches and scored once. Two seasons at Barretos followed, and in 2015 he scored 11 goals there.

Tombense signed him in 2016. He was loaned out repeatedly. At Ituano across 2016–17 he made around 30 appearances and scored six; returning there in 2021–22, he played 33 matches, scored seven and won the Série C title in 2021. In between came Atlético Goianiense in 2017, where he played 28 Série A games and scored once, and Fortaleza in 2018, where he made 19 Série B appearances as a reserve during the club's title-winning campaign.

Ponte Preta in 2019: eight matches, one goal in the São Paulo state championship. Guarani: 27 matches, three goals. Mirassol in 2020: 13 matches and a Série D title. Inter de Limeira in 2021: 11 matches.

He joined Vila Nova as a free agent in April 2024 and stayed until 2025. In 2026 he moved to Atlético Goianiense, again for nothing, returning to a club he had played for nine years earlier on loan. He has made roughly 27 appearances across Série B, the Goiano and the Copa do Brasil, with one goal. He has never played for Brazil, though he has been called up by the Goiás state side for friendly tournaments.
