J. Bosca

Juan Pablo Bosca made his first-team debut for Racing Club de Montevideo on 16 February 2025, in a 0-2 defeat to Defensor Sporting in the Uruguayan top flight. He had signed his first professional contract with the club on 31 January, after coming through the Racing academy.

Born in Montevideo, the midfielder had been drawn into first-team training during 2024 before that formal breakthrough. Since establishing himself in the squad, he has appeared in league matches and in the Copa Sudamericana, including one outing in the Uruguayan Cup.

His involvement in continental competition brought the one notable flashpoint of his young career so far: a second yellow card and red card in the 54th minute against Huracán in the Copa Sudamericana.

Bosca has yet to score for the first team, and no call-ups to any Uruguay national squad have been recorded. Racing Club de Montevideo itself has never won the Uruguayan championship, so the club's own history forms the backdrop against which any of his future contributions will be measured. For now, his career is still in its opening stages, built on academy development rather than transfers or silverware.
