Heremias Ezequiel Langa

Jeremías Langa spent his formative years at Cipolletti, the club from Río Negro province where he first broke into the first-team picture in 2023, working under coach Bruno Gorer in the regional Liga Deportiva Confluencia. From there the path ran through loan spells rather than a straight line to the top flight: a season with Atlético Regina in 2024/25 and a shorter stint at La Amistad in late 2025, both in the Torneo Regional Amateur, gave him the minutes his home club could not offer.

The move that changed his career came in January 2026, when Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata signed him on loan with an option to buy. The deal carried an unusual condition: before leaving, Langa renewed his contract with Cipolletti through 2027, an arrangement that let the smaller club retain his economic rights while he went to develop elsewhere. He arrived at Gimnasia as a reserve-team player, assigned to Ariel "Pata" Pereyra's squad with the explicit task of gaining experience.

That development phase did not last long. On 24 July 2026, Langa made his official debut for Gimnasia's first team, starting against Racing Club in the opening round of the Clausura and wearing the number 37 shirt. Gimnasia lost 2-1. It remains, as things stand, his only senior appearance for the club — a single data point that some statistics aggregators have inflated into a much larger tally, apparently by folding in reserve-team and previous-club fixtures.

Langa plays as a central defender and is right-footed. He has not been called up by any Argentina youth or senior national team, and has yet to win a trophy or individual honour at senior level. For now, his story is that of a defender still proving himself at the level his loan move was designed to test.
