About the player
Bizama came through Huachipato's academy and made his first-team debut in the Chilean Cup against Deportes Concepción before establishing himself in the top flight. He went on to make 93 appearances for the club, scoring five goals.
In July 2019, Houston Dynamo signed the defender, though visa delays meant he did not join the MLS club until the following month, making his debut against Philadelphia Union. He made only 14 appearances for Houston without scoring, and the club did not renew his contract. A loan spell at USL Championship side Charlotte Independence in August 2021 gave him a further chance to play regularly before his time in the United States ended.
Bizama signed for Palestino in January 2022, going on to make more than 20 appearances and scoring once for the Chilean side.
At international level, he was capped four times by Chile, all in friendlies: three in 2018, against Romania, Serbia and Poland, and one in 2019, against Honduras. He has yet to score for the national team.
