About the player

Eight minutes, three goals. On 17 May 2017 Abrahams came on as a substitute for Sint-Truiden and scored a hat-trick in a 7–0 win over K.V. Mechelen, all three inside that spell. He had made his senior debut only a month earlier, in April; the club extended his contract after the Mechelen game.

He had arrived in Belgium in 2015, on trial from the youth academy of Cape Town United, where he was coached by Colin Gie. The trial turned into a three-year deal.

The most productive stretch of his career came at Westerlo, whom he joined in 2018. In the 2019/2020 Challenger Pro League season he finished as the division's second-highest scorer with ten goals, opened the scoring in six separate matches, and recorded more braces than anyone else in the league that season. November 2019 alone brought four goals.

A two-year contract at Deinze, signed in 2021, was terminated by mutual consent in August 2022. He was without a club until 8 August 2023, when he signed for Novi Pazar of the Serbian SuperLiga, and in early 2024 he was loaned to Sloboda Užice. On 25 February 2024, on his debut for Sloboda against Mladost GAT, he broke his leg in a duel and was carried off the pitch. His Novi Pazar contract expired that June.

In October 2020 he was called into the South African senior squad for friendlies against Namibia and Zambia, but withdrew because of COVID-19 travel rules. He has played for South Africa at under-20 level. On 21 December 2024 he joined Waasland-Beveren on a free transfer, on a deal running to 30 June 2026.
