About the player
Lorenzo Faravelli learned the game at Newell's Old Boys in his native Rosario, breaking through and staying with the club for five years before a loan spell took him to Chile's Unión Española.
Three seasons in La Plata gave way to a free transfer to Huracán in 2019, a spell cut short when the contract was terminated the following January. Faravelli then crossed to Ecuador, joining Independiente del Valle.
In December 2023 he moved to Mexico for the first time, signing for Cruz Azul in a deal worth 2.5 million euros. He spent three seasons with the club before leaving on a free transfer this January, joining Necaxa, where he now continues his career in Liga MX.
