Leon Tasov

Leon Tasov grew up in Witten and came through local football at Hombrucher SV 09 before joining the VfL Bochum academy, where he spent several years. He left Bochum on a free transfer in the summer of 2023 to sign for Preußen Münster's reserve side in the Oberliga Westfalen, a move that proved productive: across 54 appearances for the second team he scored eight goals.

That form was rewarded in November 2024, when Tasov signed his first long-term professional contract with Preußen Münster. He made his first-team debut at home against Fortuna Düsseldorf, stepping up from the reserves into senior football.

To gain regular first-team minutes, Tasov was loaned twice to SV Meppen in the Regionalliga Nord. The first spell began in January 2025 and ran through the rest of that season, in which he played 12 matches and scored twice. A second loan followed in January 2026 for the second half of the campaign, during which he added 13 appearances and two more goals. That season ended in promotion, with Meppen crowned Regionalliga Nord champions and going up to the 3. Liga.

Tasov has represented North Macedonia at youth level, playing for the under-18s in 2022, then the under-19s between 2022 and 2024, where he scored once in six caps, before stepping up to the under-21 side in 2024.
