About the player
Malte Hansen made his mark before he had even made his senior debut. In March 2026, playing for Silkeborg's U19 side, he scored four goals in a single match against Copenhagen.
Hansen came through Silkeborg's own academy, though his path there was not entirely straight: in 2025 he spent time with Næstved Boldklub's U19 team before returning to Silkeborg. He was promoted to the first-team squad on 1 July 2026, and his Superliga debut followed on 17 May 2026, when he was brought on as a substitute against FC Fredericia.
