About the player
Bahia kept 40% of his economic rights when they sold him. Internacional announced the deal on 14 February 2026, a permanent transfer of around €1m — roughly R$6m — with a contract running to December 2027. Earlier reports had suggested a loan with an option to buy.
He is from Salvador. After youth spells at Palmeiras and Athletico Paranaense, he turned professional at Bahia in 2020: 117 first-team appearances, four goals, eight assists. There were state titles in 2020 and 2023, and the Copa do Nordeste in 2021.
The loan to Ceará at the start of 2024 was meant to last one season. It lasted two. In 2024 he played 49 matches, set up seven goals and finished the year promoted to Série A. The loan was extended through 2025, and he played 44 more, with four assists, but the club went back down to Série B. Between the two campaigns he won the Campeonato Cearense twice.
What he does not have on the CV is international football at any level. What he does have is 93 matches in two seasons at a club fighting first to get up and then to stay up.
