Miguel Chinocelli Bilong

Two goals in a training match against Palmeiras' reserve side in July 2026 changed Miguel Bilong's standing at the club. The performance drew the attention of the club's management. Not long after, he began working with the first-team squad.

Bilong came to Brazil from APEJES de Mfou, the Cameroonian club where he started out and played in Elite Two. His first months at Palmeiras were spent on trial: tests, sessions with the academy, and friendly tournaments including the Copa Ibrachina Sub-20. He spent several months in that position before anything was settled.

In July 2026 the club signed him to a professional contract running to 2029. The fee was not disclosed. The deal carries a release clause of 100 million euros for foreign clubs. He wears number 29.

His competitive record so far is short. In the 2026 season he made three official appearances for the Sub-20 side and scored once. On 20 August he scored in a Paulista Sub-20 match against Referência, which Palmeiras won 2-0.

Later that month he was named in a first-team squad for the first time, for a Brazilian championship fixture against Internacional. The match finished 0-0 and he stayed on the bench. He has played for Cameroon's youth sides; there is no senior international record.
