About the player
Oscar Hedvall came through the ranks at Silkeborg Kammeraterne before joining Silkeborg IF's academy, and he made his professional debut for the club in March 2019, the same season he won the Danish 1st Division title with 14 appearances. A cruciate ligament injury in 2022 sent him out on loan to FC Fredericia, where he made 14 appearances.
His contract with Silkeborg expired in 2023, and he moved on a free transfer to FC Midtjylland, where he was part of the squad that won the Danish Superliga title, though he did not feature that season as the club's third-choice goalkeeper. A move to Viborg FF followed in 2024, and there he finally established himself as a first-choice goalkeeper, making 14 appearances.
In July 2025, Hedvall signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Vålerenga, taking him into Norwegian football. At international level, he represented Denmark at youth level, with caps for the U17, U18 and U20 sides.
