About the player
In the 2024–2025 season with ACR Messina, Pierluca Luciani scored in seven consecutive matches.
He came through the youth sector at Frosinone, where he stayed with the Primavera side until 2021 and scored 23 goals in 40 matches. His senior debut for the club came in Serie B during the 2020–2021 season, a single appearance. A loan to Monterosi Tuscia for 2021–2022 brought seven outings in Serie C.
The move that should have opened the next stage instead cost him a season. Luciani joined ACR Siena on loan in July 2022 and, on 12 August, was diagnosed with a complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament and the external meniscus in his left knee. He was operated on at the end of that month and never played a competitive match for the club.
Messina took him on loan for 2023–2024, and he made 25 appearances with four goals in Serie C. He stayed for a second season, the one that ended with the scoring streak.
In August 2025 he signed permanently for Ravenna on a three-year contract, reported as a free transfer. He scored six goals in 15 Serie C Group B matches before the club sent him to SSD Torres on loan in February 2026, where he added one goal.
He has not been capped at international level and has won no major team honours.
